Bret Cleveland comes to the tree care industry with a background in business marketing/sales and earned his MBA from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Combining his education, talent, and interest in the outdoors, Bret broadened his experience with 6 years of sales and consulting for a respected tree care company in Kansas City. Seeing his life-long dream come to fruition in March 2008, he is thrilled to own and operate Urban Tree Specialists with partner, Tony Wendland.
Bret is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist MW-4393A since 2003 and has over 150 hours of continuing education. He is a Kansas Certified Arborist as well as member of: Kansas Arborist Association (KAA), Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), Heart of America Golf Course Superintendents (HAGCSA), Mid America Green Industry Council (MAGIC), Heartland Tree Alliance, Tree Liberty, Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and Parkville Chamber of Commerce. Bret has his Commercial Pesticide Applicator License in both Missouri and Kansas.
